"STEPHEN KOEPFER: On behalf on Expert Village, my name is Stephen Koepfer of New York Combat Sambo in New York City, and today we're going to show you Sambo combinations. Okay, in this Sambo combination, we're going to talk about subsequent throws if your first entrance to a throw doesn't work. We're going to do the initial shoulder throw and then two subsequent throws from the same entrance. The initial shoulder throw, you're stepping in under wrapping your opponent's arm, making sure your hips are under his. Legs are bent, up and over, controlling my opponent's arm, as always. So, here's the original throw. Okay? Then we're going to do two possible throws off of that same entrance. If, for some reason, this throw doesn't work, I can step behind and do a sitting throw or a "podsad," like that. Or my other option is to do a fireman's carry or a windmill. If it doesn't work, drop to the knee, over the top."
