Doing a Wrap Around Strike in Sambo Martial Arts

"STEPHEN KOEPFER: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Stephen Koepfer of New York Combat Sambo in New York City and today, we're going to show you Sambo combinations. Okay, in this Sambo striking and throwing combination, we're going to do a wrap-around strike leading directly into a front trip throw. When your opponent grips you and you're entering for the throw, you're going to be swinging your arm around the person's head. Normally, you can just grab and do your throw. But today, we're going to turn that grip into a strike so when you enter, your arm swings around and you're hitting the side of their head, from there, you continue into the front trip. So, we'll do it one time slow. Enter, strike, throw, counter, strike, follow up your strike. And one time fast."
