"This is Sean from Expert Village. In this part we're going to talk about the freecoaster and free wheel. I ride an audacity reloader which is a freecoaster what it does it enables me to ride the bike backwards with out the pedals moving. Where as to a free wheel bike if you go backwards the pedals goes backwards. I have a gap in my pedals because it threads into itself that allows me to not have to pedal backwards. What a freecoaster does instead of reaching out and grabbing the hub and turning it, it threads into itself and when it threads into itself it becomes tight and moves my hub. That is what this gap is it's threading in right now when I back pedal and turn it threads itself out a little bit. What that does it releases that hub that way it can move backwards or forward, it makes fakies a little bit easier and it's also a very good tool if you do a lot of flat land. If you ride a free wheel or whatever you always have to be cautious of how your back pedaling. If going backwards, you'll need to be able to learn how to set your feet up based on where you need to turn around that way you can get ready to pedal or go the next round."
