"This is Sean from Expert Village. Another good way to practice is just on a flat ground if you have a good open area, like a parking lot or driveway whatever you can find that is smooth and flat, just kind of pedal around and do some real small hang 5. You'll find when you first learn is that you are either not going to get up high enough which means you are not going to be tall enough on the front tire. Or you are going to be too far and you are going to over the bars. This trick takes a lot of practice and a lot of time to invest into it to just get it right. Try not to if you can to use your brake. Whenever you can it will help you with your balance. If you need to feather it, go ahead. But a good way to practice it like I said just find a nice flat area and where ever you can just do a real small one. Just go up and do real small ones like that and keep building on them as you go and over time they will get longer and longer and you'll get better on them."
