"SHANAY NORVELL: Plyometrics are explosive movements that immediately engage the muscle. We're going to do this today using a step. You're going to start in a pushup position, hands outside of the step. Go down, and then explode and then land your hands on top of the set. We're going to do about five of these because they're intense. Come out, exhale up. Inhale down, exhale up. Make sure you have soft surface and that you're landing as soft as possible. Now if that's tough, you can bring your knees in, bring your feet up and then you can go out and in. [INDISCERNIBLE] the arms, come out and in. Or you can go back to your toes. That's plyometrics."
