"Now I'm going to show you how to use this one. It's a little more advanced, but it's actually more advantageous because there is one piece to it. You are going to put your index finger on the lower button, your middle finger on the upper button, and your thumb on the bottom and just hold it as an anchor. You are going to press with that index finger, but leave the middle finger lightly on the top button. You will do that until you hear the beep (which it just did) and it is going to show me my heart rate at 45. I can actually show that to you. You will see it up a little closer -- 45. Now, I'm going to get started with some activity, just so I can see it go up. You just start with the treadmill. A nice light walk. Let's take it up a little higher than that (but not too high). Again, I'm always going to have to put my pointer or index finger, my middle finger, just to get another reading. Once I hear it beep, it will let me know that it's starting. And it's still reading. This is a little bit different than the other heart rate monitors that read continuously. This one only reads when you place your fingers on it. I'm going to step to the side and see if that makes a little bit of a difference. Almost there. Still reading. And it's at 49 now; so it has gone up a little bit and again, I will have to keep tapping on it just to make sure. So, it's a cool way to check where you are. You don't have the extra straps and you can use it as a stopwatch and a timer as well. So, that's it. You've got your heart rate ready to roll."
