"The proper foot placement for a nose ollie to a nose wheelie is a little further forward than you normally would use for olling up the obstacle. The reason for this is that once you have ollied up on the obstacle, you want to have your weight balance over the front wheels like this. The proper foot placement for a good nose wheelie is with the back foot about in the middle of the board and the front foot placed right on the cusp of the nose. The reason for this foot placement is not just holding, but once you get to the end of the ledge your going to want to be able to clear the curve or the edge of the ledge so that you can land evenly and right in the middle of the board. So you want to set up a little bit further forward, ollie in to position, landing your nose wheelie with your back foot in the middle of the board and your front foot on nose and then make it to the end and balance out and pop out past the edge of the ledge."
