Video Transcript

" Hi my name is Sarah Stetner. I'm an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this video I'm just showing you how to get ready to ride English and we have the saddle on, we have the bridle on. I just showed you how to pick the horses foot and the next step for me do is apply his bell boots. There is such thing as bell boots and stunt boots. Stunt boots are the kind that come right here and it prevents the horse from getting chin splints just like a human as in running. They are cause by running or running really fast. Bell racers use them, rainers use them, any type of movement fast and also they can come by running on pavement as well. Just like humans. But I just use the bell boots because I don't need splint boots today because I'm not working him fast but on the ground it is really soft as well. So these bell boots they prevent the horse from the back foot coming up and hitting the front foot clipping the back of it and making it all bloody right here. So in order to apply that I just went ahead and Velcro it from the top and then I went around and did that. This is a bell boot. This part is padded more then this side because this is the side that the horse is going to be hitting so I'm going to apply the second one to. So these are bell boots and these how you apply them."
