Video Transcript

" Hi my name is Sarah Stetner. I'm an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm just showing you the steps to saddle up the horse English and getting ready to ride. I already did brush him and in the last segment I just put the English saddle on top of his back. So the first thing that you want to do is make sure that the English pad as you saw as it was up here is all straight. You want to make sure that it is straight up here as well. Quit. You want to go ahead and put the English saddle right up on the withers which is this area. You just want to make sure that it is perfect right there. I'm going over here and just do the same exact thing that I did on the other side just to make sure that the pad is straight. This is cinch right here. Go ahead and put the cinch down I just slip it up when I get done riding because it is less hassle that way so it is not dragging. So you just want to make sure that you are all good to go and now we are going to get ready to cinch up the horse. The pad if for some reason I mean the reason why we go ahead and adjust the pad is because if one side slips off I mean your whole saddle is going to be rubbing on the horses back which isn't good. The saddle could come off easily as well so now I'm going to get ready to cinch up the saddle."
