Video Transcript

" Hi my name is Sarah Stetner. I'm an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this video I'm just showing you how to prepare to ride English. I'm going to saddle up the horse. I just went ahead and already brush the horse with my mane and tail brush is what I call the muck brush to get all the mud off of it or off of him. So as you can see he is still kind of dirty so I'm going to go ahead and brush him again using a softer brush just go ahead and get the dust off of him a little bit more and the saw dust. You can go over horses layers a couple of times if you want. Sometimes I go over him 3 times and when I am getting ready for a show I go over him about 6 times just to make sure he is totally clean. So I'm just brushing the neck here. His chest, his leg, as you can see all the little dust that is coming off right there you want to get his spine. His flank area remember to go up and back. See all that dust coming off. So you just want to rebrush him. This is just rebrushing him with a softer brush then the one I was using before."
