" Hi my name is Sarah Stetner. I'm an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this video I'm just going to show you how to prepare the horse to ride for English. The first step that I'm going to do is brush him with this brush because this is what gets all the mud and wetness off of him. This is what I use it is called the mane and tail brush. So I'm going to start by brushing his neck and his forelock. Make sure that you get under his chest, and his shoulder, his stomach, his under stomach. You want to get his middle arm pit area right here. His legs, his bottom of his legs are going to be brush really that well because of the fact that he is standing in mud as you can see. So he probably won't be very clean. This is the flank part again you want to go up and then come over this way and then brush it back. Then this back part you just want to brush back. You want to make sure that you get his back bone. On top of his butt. You get his groan area. Down this part of his leg. So the back part is his hock you want to make sure and to get that it is like getting you knee for the back way. Now I would do the other side."
