Summary: Learn how to walk a horse bareback - free video.
" Hi my name is Sarah Stetner I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. We are riding bareback and you want to remember to keep his head down and level. He is a quarter horse remember so you do want to keep contact with the rein to get his head down and I just squeeze with my legs a little bit while I pull up and it does get his head down. Then make sure that your toes are bareback also are pointing straight ahead you don't want what I call duck feet which I'm going to do right now like this. See how my toes are out you want them pointing in and you want your toes up heels down. You just want to go ahead and have a nice movement. He is walking right now so you do just kinda move your hips with the motion of the horse but not make to sudden because you don't want you shoulders and stuff to move. You do want to keep your shoulders back and keep that nice equitation line. Your head up. So we are just walking around in a circle and you want to keep your hand right here. Your rein hand right above of the withers."
