"SCOTT SOLLER: Hi, my name is Scott Soller, yoga instructor, here on behalf of Expert Village. For mountain pose, [INDISCERNIBLE], sweep the arms by hips. With a big inhale, bend the knees. Lift the tail. Expand your midrib. Take the arms up. Gaze can be out front. Eventually you can look up. Arms in parallel, eventually arms up. Shoulders down the back. Feel the scoop in your lower abdomen, bringing the energy up to the upper third chakra. Come down further if your knees aren't comfortable with that, with a big inhale coming all the way up, exhaling and folding. Be here as long as you are comfortable, stretching from the heels to the crown of the head. You can always bend your knees, and then strengthen to your desired intensity. When you are ready to release the pose, separate the feet, come down and rest in a squat pose."
