Video Transcript

"SCOTT SOLLER: Hi, my name is Scott Soller, yoga instructor, here on behalf of Expert Village. To open up our breathing, we'll take the left hand to the rib cage. Inhaling, we'll side bend, exhaling back to center. Inhale, open up the intercostals. Exhaling, back to center. Inhaling, exhaling, inhaling. You're also stretching the lung cells here. Inhale, exhale, inhaling, exhaling, inhaling and exhaling. Side bends are also great for your lateral flexors, the obliques, the side muscles of the spine. You're opening out, specifically here, the intercostals and stretching the lungs out. All during these sets, we're opening up and relaxing down so the energy can flow up. So we have a relaxing down movement and an up movement at the same time. Continue in this way for as long as you're comfortable. When you are finished, make sure you finish opposite the way you started and meditate."
