"SCOTT SOLLER: Hi, my name is Scott Soller, yoga instructor, here on behalf of Expert Village. In the next exercise, mortar and pestle, we lean forward, have hands on your knees, lean around to the left, circle around, inhale forward, exhale back, inhale forward, exhale back. So as you come forward, the chin distends. When you exhale back, the chin comes in. Gently loosening up your hips. You can think of, like some of the old pharmacists used to do, churning the medicine with mortar and pestle, loosening up the hips, opening up the waist, circumducting the spine, and try to breathe just through the nose. At a comfortable place, reverse and continue as long as you're comfortable."
