"SCOTT BROWDER: Talked about a positioning not just your body but your arm and the paddle to be able to set up for more of a wristy-type shot as opposed to all arm and hittin' it like a tennis ball. So we had the crouch position the we were using for our serve, we're going to use the same position, and you can use this as you return a serve or just in the middle of a point and you're trying to stay in the point whatever you want to be able to play the ball. What I like to think of is like almost like making a figure eight with your paddle. So if the ball is coming you want to be able to play your paddle out in front of your body and not get caught back here with the ball coming off of your hip and trying to return from back here although if you did something like that you could put some spin on it after using that as a way to put spin on the ball, that's a good way to do it. But what I'm talking about now is keeping the ball in play in front, directly in front of your body. So basically like I said the figure eight thing is the top spin forehand, the top spin backhand, just flipping it, your paddle back and forth and you can almost use that as a practice method to get into the feel of what you should be doing up front in front of your body when the ball is approaching you."
