"Hi, this is Sean Hobson. What we're talking about right now is no matter what offense you use, no matter what motion offense you use, it's very important to be able to use screens! Not only to set good screens but be able to come off of those screens. It doesn't matter if we run a five outset, doesn't matter if we run a four out, one in set, or like we're doing right now with a three out, two in motion. It doesn't matter how you're working it, you've got to make sure that these guys come off of their screens. So, for example: let's go ahead and make the first pass in the offense, we're going to show you what I mean by how to come off the screens. Now, he makes the pass, he's going to set a screen for this guy. He's got to be able to first of all set up the screen, allows this guy to set the screen. Then when he comes off of it, we don't want him to just come off the screen as part of the motion offense and not really care if he's going to get the ball or not. We want him to use that screen and explode off of the screen, so that he can get the ball. So, let?s, we'll walk through it here faster in just a second. The posts are the most important! Let's go ahead and walk through your screen. When he comes over to set a screen for this post player, go ahead- set the screen, you set the screen here, o.k. When he sets the screen it's very important for our post players to really pound off of that screen and fight off of that screen because they're getting the ball and they've got to come across hard, ready to post and pop off of that screen. Alright, we're going to go through it at full speed right here. Watch how these guys explode off of this screen as we go, alright, go. Good! Pop off the screen. Good! Alright, stop. You could see that every screen was set, was set with a purpose and they came off with a purpose and that is to get the ball. And, that's going to help your motion go a lot more effective."
