"Hi, this is Sean Hobson. We are talking right now about the motion offense. We're going to show you what happens this time when we run the motion offense and we're trying to pass the ball into the post on our second pass and the post is denied and we can't get the ball to the post, we'll show you what happens then on the third pass, when we bring the ball back to the key. So real quickly, we're going to walk through the first part of the offense. So, we work the ball up to the wing, everybody screens away. Now, what we want to do, we want to try to get the ball to the post but sometimes, if the defense is good and they can fight through the screen, they're going to be denying the post, we can't get the ball in to the post. Here's what happens then when we have to re-enter the ball back to the top of the key. So, the ball is going to work back to the top of the key. Here's the rule you want to remember: when the ball goes to the wings, you screen across, when the ball comes back to the top, we want the top guys to screen down. So he's going to screen down for the center and he's going to screen down. Now we've got our post players up on the wings and we've got the ball back in the middle. If the ball then has to be moved again, when we pass it off to the wings, obviously, every time it goes to the wings, then we're going to get a screen across. So, if we can't get it to the post, we bring it back to the top, every time the ball goes back to the top we screen down in the offense and that keeps our motion going."
