"Hi, this is Sean Hobson. We want to show you right now a quick drill that we like to do to start off a lot of our practices. And this works on several different things. This works on shooting, this works on catching, passing, foot work, and it's done at a game speed. So it gives them a little more game type atmosphere when they're walking through practice. We call this "line layups". And what's going to start this drill out, is the line with the ball is actually going to be the line that is shooting. But instead of the old-fashioned way of just dribbling in and making a lay up and the other line rebounding, we incorporate the pass into this. So lets walk through the first time. What Hunter's going to do is, he's going to go ahead and pass the ball over to Ben. Now as soon as Ben gets the ball back, he's going to catch it and he's going to get rid of the ball again. We want Hunter to catch the ball off the pass. Go ahead. And then he's going to go through the lay up. Now there are several different shots we're going to do with this and we're going to show you those as we go. But the proper procedure is--it's very easy drill--you're going to pass it, and then you're going to cut to the basket, you're going to get the ball back, and then you're going to finish the shot. We're going to go through at game speed right now and show you what it looks like when we go through this doing lay ups. All right, lets go ahead. All right go ahead Blake. Pass. He gives it back. Good lay up. Pass. Give it back. Good lay up. Good. Now obviously when you have your full team here, you'll just keep rotating and switching lines. We're going to show you just a couple, real quick, other shots that we make off of this. This would be to pass over. Blake, lets go ahead and have you come up here. We're just going to do this one at a time. Give it back to him and now we're going to do low block shot. So he passes, catches, low block shot. The next one we're going to do--ok Blake, we're going to go ahead now to the wing. You can shoot these shots on the wing. Go ahead, give the pass out. Get it back. Shoots it on the wing. Good. Good. The next series that we're going to do is, we're going to go to the elbow. This region right here on the floor is called the elbow. Go ahead. Good. Now the last one, and obviously everybody's favorite--you're going to pass it, you're going to get the pass back real quick, and you're going to shoot from the three point line. You see how Blake gives the pass up and then he relocates. He doesn't want to stay in an exact same spot. He wants to relocate on his three point shot. So this is several different shots you can incorporate into a drill at game speed."
