"Hi, this is Sean Hobson. We're continuing our stretching of the upper body and mainly targeting the arms, and one important stretch that a lot of people forget to do in the game of basketball is the wrist. If you don't have proper wrist stretching, you're not going to get the proper movement on the follow through of your shot. You're going to be tight. And a lot of times, you're not going to get the proper movement on the ball, which is going to make you a less good shooter than you could possibly be. So we're going to do a couple of different stretches here. These are wrist stretches and the first one's called a front wrist stretch. And you see the guys are getting down on their hands and knees here. You can also do this against the walls. It's a little bit more difficult. But you're going to put your palms down and you're going to lean forward. And when you do this, you're going to be bending your wrist back and you're going to be stretching the top muscles around your wrist. You're going to lean forward for about a 12 count, then you're going to release it, shake your wrists out, and then we're going to turn them around backwards. And what this stretch is going to do when you lean forward, is this is going to be stretching out the inside muscles of the arm. Now that's going to be good not only for your shooting, but for catching the ball and when you're dribbling. All of those muscles, tendons, and ligaments are going to be nice and stretched out. So you can see how they lean forward here, get a good stretch, and then again they're going to shake it out. Do two sets with a count of 12 and you're going to be good and stretched through the wrist area. It's going to help your jump shot and your ability to dribble and pass. "
