"Hi, this is Sean Hobson. Right now we're talking about in the man-to-man defense some things that we can do to make our man-to-man defense a little bit better and as a team concept, become a better team defensively. What we want to talk about right now is, when this guy feeds the post. We've got the black team is on offense, right now the white team is on defense. We want to do something called a "double down" on the post. We're going to play our post player behind this post player and as soon as he catches it, we want this guy to double down on the post. Now, once he gets the pass we want this guy to double down. Now, we don't want him to take a bunch of short steps to get down there. All he should do is just simply take one step down and we want him to come down and try to pop the ball up on the double team. We don't want him to come down and slap from the top because he's going to get fouls called. So we want him to come in and try to jar that ball loose by coming down in that direction. Then what he can do is, when the post throws it back out, he just simply doubles down and he's going to take another step and he's going to close right back to his man. So let's show you what this looks like at full speed when we double the post. Double the post, now he's going to get back. Good, so he doubles down on the post, he tries to dig, then the post player throws it out and he recovers. And that's how you double team the post."
