"Hi, this is Sean Hobson for Expert Village. What we want to talk about right now is an interesting blitzing scheme that we can use our corner backs to come off the corner and get a good shot at the quarter back. Now this is hardly ever done in youth football, because this is a very hard thing to do. Its going to involve 2 or 3 different players. What we're talking about by blitzing our corner back, is right before or right when the play happens. A lot of times this guy is going to back up a little bit so that he can get a better angle, and as soon as the ball is snapped he's going to go as hard as he can. Now what you see now is, you see a wide receiver that's now uncovered. If we blitz our corner back, and he doesn't get to the quarterback, we've got to make sure that somebody is in coverage. We can do that one of two ways. We can take our linebacker and we can have him play and pick up this wide receiver. But a lot of times you don't want a linebacker matched up against a wide receiver. So most of the time what will happen is, our strong safety will shift to a free safety in the middle of the field. And our free safety then is going to come up and he's going to pick this guy up and pass coverage. And that's one way, creatively that you can use a corner blitz in the defensive scheme."
