"Hi, This is Sean Hobson. Right now we're working with our point guards. One important thing that we want to teach our point guards is, once you feed the post, you then have to read the defense and you want to relocate. You always want to be in constant movement in the middle of a play. We never want our guards to feed the post and stand there. That's never gong to work for anything. The defender, all he has to do then, is he just has to move this way and then move straight back. You're not challenging that defender to work. What we always want our point guards to do, is we want him to be able to feed the post. He's going to do something called relocate. He reads the defense. He can either relocate here, if there's an opening, or he can drop down and relocate for an opening. Hopefully get a shot. This is what it looks like when our guards feed the post and relocate. Good. He relocates. Now he is going to survey. If the defender has dropped down on the post and can't close out quick enough, we want this guy to shoot. If the guy comes running out at him he's possibly going to shot fake and drive. He can do all those things off the fact that he passed to the post then relocated. He moved in the offense. It's going to make you a much better point guard."
