" Hi! I’m Robert Rogers on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to be talking about shooting lanes. A shooting lane is a straight line of sight where you will be able to see between you and your target. Here a target could be 40 or 50 yards away and still be able to shoot it; where if you are in the brush, you don’t have any straight lines in sight. So if a deer walked in that area, I would be able to shoot it without a problem. When you are in a stationary position you want a couple different straight lines of sight so you would be able to pull up and shoot the deer if it was within the target range. "
