"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Safi Thomas from the Blade Academy this is Cynthia Brown from the Hip Hop conservatory all here in New York City and we're bringing you hip hop fitness. So the next thing we're just finish stretching out our quads the next thing we're going to stretch out is our hamstrings. Now the reason why you want to stretch out hamstrings is for when your doing different movements like for an example, an applejack, when your doing a applejack your stretching out the hamstring, the hamstring is going to be used. So here's what your going to do coming right here the same movement that we we're just doing but yet your going to sit back on that leg. So make sure that toe is pointed and you come back, and you come over, now some of you might want to take your head put as close to the knee as possible, what you want to do is look at here body look at the alignment in here body. This toe is up pointed towards the ceiling, this one she's sitting on it back here, sitting on the foot, keep the alignment on the back and make sure that your head comes down close to the knee. Just breathe out as you breathe out come down closer, breathe out again come down closer, it's okay if you don't have the same type of flexibility right now, it just takes time."
