"Hi, this is Ryan Tapp on behalf of Expert Village and this is advance shots around the court with a basketball. We are going to be talking about your baseline shot. The baseline is probably the most difficult shot to hit around the court, because there is no back board for support behind you. When you are shooting your baseline shot you just have to rely on accuracy. You have the rim and if you miss then you are pretty much toast it is tough. So you want to make sure you have all of your techniques when you are shooting your baseline shot. Since it is the most difficult of the shots you are going to want to do everything that you can to make sure you have a better chance of receiving the ball. First off just like in all of your other shots you are going to remember when you're shooting a baseline shot you are going to want to put more arch on the ball. That means you are going to want to the ball to have a little bit more air under it when you shot it. You don't want to shot it flat you gnat it to look almost like a rainbow like a arch or an ark when it come down. The reason that you do this is because when the ball is coming straight down there is more area of the room, there is more area of the rim for the basketball to fall into. If you are shooting it flat you're leaving off a big chunk of your side of the hoop for the ball to go into."
