"Hi my names Ryder Mackey and I'm here today with Expert Village, once you've made this skateboard video, you want to send it in to your local skateboard shop. Asking for a sponsorship deal, if they accept you and they think you?re very good. Um you will become what a member of that skateboard shop; you will be entering tournaments, and competitions. Set up by this local skateboard shop, and if they like you a lot they give you a sponsorship, you'll be getting free equipment, free decks, free trucks, free clothing. Um it's really what you want to aim for to start out your skateboarding career. Um when they set you in these competitions um for their skateboard shop, you will be representing your local skateboard shop, and um some pointers on doing well in the competition. Is when you go out there is people usually tend to do one of two things, they either tend to go for it all out try to bust out their toughest craziest tricks, and usually end up being nervous and not landing them because their going for crazy tricks. This does not score points with the judge. Another thing that they do is they get scared, try to be too conservative with it, this also doesn't help, because you don't show your best tricks. You want to find a good in between place to show decent tricks but makes sure you can land them. Practice them, there's usually a little practice time before the competition where you can master and get down these tricks, on whatever obstacles you have to work with."
