"Hi my name is Ryder Mackey, and I'm here today with Expert Village, talk to you about competitions, in skateboarding, and sponsorships. Sponsorships are a way to be on your path too having a skateboarding career and becoming a pro. Um it's very important once you get a lot better at skateboarding. Um one way to achieve getting sponsored by your local skateboard shop or a company you know about, is to make a skateboarding video, you need to have the right equipment. Camera, editing equipment, computer, and you can put together your own skateboarding video of your best tricks. Most skateboard videos are about 15 to 20 minutes long. Um some tips for a skateboard video you might want to make is having different cool backgrounds, different areas, going to a couple different skate parks. Cause you don't want to bore whoever?s doing the video. With one area, and several tricks over and over again. So have a variety of tricks."

Im not so good at skating myself, but my buddy Ty is sick! He found this guide online that walks you through getting a sponsor, and he got one in like 1 month!
