"Hi my name is Ryder Mackey, and I'm here today with Expert Village, and I'm here to talk to you today about the crooked grind to fakie. And what you want to do is approach the curve at a slight angle, uh comfortable speed, hopefully gaining your speed a little bit before approaching the curb, so that you can have enough force going forward to actually grind the curb. So you don't get stuck on it. And you want to come up off ollie up and shift your weight forward, just a little bit. Bash your front trucks onto the curb, so you?re going to have your front trucks grinding on the curve. Your back trucks lifted up into the air and you?re also going to have your skateboard on the curve crooked a little bit. So you will be grinding like this. And it's kind of difficult trick because if your weight is shifted too far forward you might get stuck and fall forward. If your too far back, your back trucks might sag down a little bit. So you need to have your perfect balance, perfect weight and it will take some practice to get the right combination of both. And to come off of this trick, you need to rotate your shoulders in a backside direction. Take your back foot and swing it around, skateboard around come off and land switch."
