"Hi my name's Ryder Mackey, and I'm here today with Expert Village. I'm going to talk to you about manuals. The most basic, common manual is the back wheel manual. And what this is is you just ride in your comfortable stance, you want to go at a comfortable speed. You don't want to do it stationary. You want to shift your weight to your back leg, just a little bit. Just enough, so you get your front trucks off of the ground. And you're just going to cruise along like this, and you're going to keep your balance directly over your back wheels, so that they'll stop the board from going back or forward, either way. And, during this trick you might slip out a couple times, take a couple falls, but it takes a lot of practice, just to perfect it. And, once you get it, it's a pretty neat trick. Another manual is known as the nose manual. And it's a little bit trickier, a little hard. You want to ride as you would, but keep your front foot on the nose of your skateboard, back foot on the back bolts. Shift your weight forward onto your front leg, and keep your weight balanced over your front wheels. And ride only with your front wheels, keeping your back wheels in the air. Go as long as you possible, once you feel you start to losing it, start to lose your balance, lean back, and ride away."
