"My name is Ryder Mackey I'm here today with Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about the differences between skateboarding in a skate park like this which is meant for skateboarding and skateboarding outside on the street on different obstacles like that. One of the main things to keep in mind if you are going to choose to go skateboarding out on the street is to be respectful of other people's property. You don't want to be doing grinds on benches that belong to the city because the benches are made for people to sit on and it's not too attractive to have a bunch of grind marks on that's only in skate parks. So if you're going to go skateboarding on the street try not to grind up the property, try not to mess up any of their equipment, run your skateboard into anything, just use your head, be respectful and safe. One of the ways to find out if skateboarding is legalized in your city or not is to contact your local chamber of commerce. Ask them questions, look them up in the phone book. Look around you for skateboarding signs, they're usually posted up on light post, walls, and they say no skateboarding, bicycling, and roller blading. Most of the time that's what they say. It can also be a lot safer to skateboard in a designated skateboarding area as a skate park because there are many people around you that can get you help if you're injured. It's just meant for skateboarding, it's designed by professionals just so that you can skateboard here which makes it a lot safer and a smarter place to skateboard."
