"Hi my name is Ryder Mackey, and I'm here today with Expert Village, and we're going to talk to you today about wheels, and how to put them on your trucks. Um, what I always do when I go to a skateboard shop is I always buy blank wheels, I don't buy brand name wheels I buy the cheapest blank wheel that are not made by anybody. Because wheels make absolutely no difference to me in the world. The only thing I do look for when I buy the cheapest wheels, is to buy the softer kind of wheel, and the cheap wheels do make a soft wheel. I use this soft wheel to slide along on the skateboard and complete spins, or whatever kind of trick I need to do. Um, now I take the wheel and I going to put the hole in the bearing through the axle of the truck. And just slide it on, just like that. Slide it on real nice and easy and it's going to stop once the axle of the truck ends and meets the truck. Next thing I'm going to do is grab one of these bolts, that are going to come with the trucks you purchased. And I'm going to set the wider side of the bolt, on the axle of the truck, screw it on, and this is where my skateboard tool is going to come in handy. I'm going to take the medium size, this side right here socket wrench, put it over the nut, screw it on. And this is probably one of the most important things, when you?re screwing the bolt on to the truck with the wheel in it. Is you always want to make sure you never screw it too tight on. Because what happens when you screw it too tight, wheel doesn't spin. That's because the bolt is actually pressing up against the bearing. So you loosing it a little bit, then you loosen it too much, it's going to be unstable, cause the wheel has too much of a gap. You want to get it just right about medium, so that the wheel has a little bit of room to move but not too much, that's going to keep it spinning nice. Get the full use out of your clean bearings, that's how you put on a wheel."
