on 2/26/2009 I can't get rid of my rotation. My board starts off pointing at 12 o'clock , but in mid air it rotates and lands pointing at 10 o'clock. I'm keeping my shoulders straight, but can't get rid of the rotation. Suggestions?

"My name is Ryder Mackey, I'm with Expert Village and today I'm going to talk about how to do a basic trick called the Ollie. First thing you want to do is you want to put your front foot about an inch behind the bolts, the front bolts and you want to place your back foot, the ball of your big toe right on the tail, ready to snap down. You're going to bend your knees down and then you're going to start springing up and as you're coming up, you're going to snap your back foot down, the tail down, and you want to slide your front foot up to the nose and then as you're arising in the air, this is going to bring your board up level with your feet and you're going to get a little air. Then you just straighten out your knees and then absorb the landing with your knees. The Ollie trick is a very useful thing to know in skateboarding because any other combination of tricks you're going to want to land is going to start with the Ollie, you're going to have to get off the ground to do almost any flip trick. It also can helpful to go off of ledges, catch some air off of a ramp, anything. It's basically the most basic, overall important trick of skateboarding. In skateboarding when you're trying to go do more complicated things like go off of a ledge or even simpler things like going up in flat ground, the Ollie is a good way to feel safe with whatever obstacle you're working with. Once you conquer the Ollie off of a certain obstacle you can do other flip tricks off of it also."
