"Hi my name is Ryder Mackey I'm here today with Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about one of the most basic things you can talk about in skateboarding and it's turning. There's equipment on your skateboard called trucks and what they are is they allow you to turn each direction when you lean and you put your weight to one side. If you're leaning back, your skateboard is going to follow you, if you're leaning front and forward your skateboard is going to follow you it's going to turn with you. There's a trick you can use to learn how to turn sharper, a little bit easier. If you loosen up the bolt on your trucks it'll allow them to turn a lot easier and it'll make your trucks a lot looser which will turn you around corners a lot faster but at high speed this can be dangerous and it can get a little wobbly. This is the equipment on a skateboard, very important called the trucks. It's what's used to grind but it's also what's used to turn. This bolt can be loosened which will loosen up the trucks which will make them turn a lot easier and a lot quicker. The bolt can be tightened which will make the trucks tighter and stay in place which will result in turning a lot less."
