"Hi my name is Ryder Mackey I'm here today with Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about the most basic areas of skate boarding. One of things you need to know even to ride a skateboard is how to push on a skateboard. What you want to do is place your front foot on the bolts of your skateboard and have your foot facing forward towards the front of the skateboard and you want to have your back foot on the ground directly next to your skateboard pushing off in as smooth and as balanced motion as possible. The more confident you get with this motion, the bigger strides you can take as you're pushing off the more speed you can gain which will help you later when you become a more confident skateboarder. One of the key points to pushing is having your front foot in the front of the skateboard because if you have your back foot on the back of the skateboard, you push with your front foot and bring your front foot up to the front of the skateboard, it's called mongo foot and it's not good, it gives you less control and less balance."
