Video Transcript

"Hello! My name is Samantha Rafael on behalf of expertvillage.com and you can visit me online at bepresentyoga.com. In this clip I’m going to be demonstrating tortoise pose. To get into tortoise pose begin by drawing your knees together from a seated position, then take your legs out to about a 90 degree angle, your knees are bent, your feet are flat on the floor, from here release your arms under your legs just underneath your knees and wiggle your arms even lower under your legs until your knees are almost at your shoulders, begin to walk your feet together as you draw your chest towards the floor, then release your head down and hold here for about five breaths. To get out of it begin to walk your feet back apart, release your arms and come back to a seated position."
