"Hello! My name is Samantha Rafael on behalf of expertvillage.com and you can visit me online at bepresentyoga.com. In this clip I’m going to be demonstrating extended side angle to bird of paradise pose. So what you need to do first is come into warrior two, to do that step your right foot out and your left foot back, begin to bend your right knee right over your right ankle and make sure that your right heel is in line with your left in step, take your arms out to the side, your right knee needs to right over your ankle and just take a moment to gaze over your right middle finger. From here release your right elbow onto your right thigh and you can just relax your lower arm down, reach your left arm up towards the ceiling rotating your chest up towards the ceiling as well and then wrap your left arm around your back and grab onto your right inner thigh, deepening the twist here. Being to reach underneath your right thigh keeping your chest open, your left hand will grab your right hand, extend your arms and then step your left foot forward, walk your right foot towards your left foot a little bit balancing on the ball and heel of your left foot, you’re going to begin to lift your right foot up, from here begin to strengthen out to your right leg towards the ceiling, keep the right foot flexed and the toes spread, slowly come out of it the way you go into it, stepping back first to extended side angle, then warrior two and then repeat on the opposite side."
