" Hello! My name is Samantha Rafael on behalf of expertvillage.com and you can visit me online at bepresentyoga.com. In this clip I’ll be demonstrating one legged and one armed downward facing dog. So first of all what you do to get into this posture is you come into downward facing dog placing your hands at the front of your mat, your legs in the back of the mat, arms should be about shoulders distance apart, legs about hips distance, so from here you begin to lift your right leg, the right foot is flexed and the toes are spread, then slowly begin to take your left arm off of the earth, from here you wrap your left arm behind your back. If this is enough you can stay here, otherwise begin to bend your right knee and then grab for the inner edge of your right foot, use your gaze here to balance, kick your foot into your hand. This is one legged and one armed down dog, when you’re done with the right side after five breaths switch to the left."
