Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Sarah Stetner. I'm an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this video, I am showing you the basic beginner steps on how to ride English. I just showed you the circle and now I am just walking along inside middle part, just so you can see me better how I am holding my hands and keeping the weight in my feet. You don't want your feet out like this, duck feet, that's what I call it. You do want to keep them in and you want to keep your heels down. Another thing that I found helpful to me is you want to keep a lot of pressure right here. You want to kind of curl your knees in too but make sure you don't let go of your heel weight. So you want to curl in your knees but keep the heel weight. Now I am going to ask him to trot for me. So in order to do that you just cluck, well I cluck, it's his cue to trot and kind of squeeze a little bit with my heels and calves and go ahead and voice command to trot. So here I am going to ask him to trot. "
