Summary: Learn some different types of horse grooming brushes - free video clip.
" Hi! My name is Sarah Stetner and I am an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you in this video how to brush a horse, which my horse Rowdy here is very dirty and he just freshly rolled for me, just so I could brush him, of course he always does that. You guys know how horses are, but I'm also going to show you the types of brushes that there is. This is called the mane and tail brush, also known to get mud off the horse. This is what I'm going to use for him. It works pretty good. This is called a curry comb, used for shedding out horses for there winter coat. This is the really soft brush, this is a brush that I use on his face, so it is like soft bristles, stuff that would feel good on human skin too. This is a little coarser brush used to get the harder dust out of his body. This is the hardest of the three softers, if that makes sense, but the hardest of it to get all the dirt and dust off too, which I will use this after I use the mane and tail brush off to get the most mud off. This is just the mane and tail brush, also it is like a human hairbrush. This brush right here is also to shed out horses with their winter coat. It is rubbery made, so you can really put your muscle into it."
