Video Transcript

" My name is Sarah Stetner; I'm an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to show you how to stop and back the horse and how a horse shouldn't refuse to your pullings of the reins, and how to do it right. So we are walking and I want him to stop so I tell him to woo. Holt. I tighten up the rein, get his head down, and I'm going to ask him to back. I am not just pulling on his reins my legs right here have pressure in them as well. Back. He should drop his head for me a little bit more. Keep backing. Rowd. There you go. He just drop his head I'm going to walk him up and do that one more time. Ho. Back. You see how my pressure in my legs it is just not reins. If it is just my reins his mouth would be opening as for like that if you really pull on a horses mouth with the bit in it, it hurts him a lot. Even though a lot of people do do it which I think I don't believe in that part but, I'm a more leg rider. So once again see how easy and he dropped his head because know he is like okay I back. That is how you back your horse up from the stop."
