Video Transcript

"Hi I'm Sarah Stetner I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I am cantering my horse right now with the equitation form and he is doing very good. He is going nice and slow his head his perfect and now I'm just going to ask him to walk and when I do this transition from the canter to the walk I'm going to sit down on him a little bit. Kind of drop my hips and go ahead and keep the weight in my legs cause you don't want my legs flying forward. So I'm just going to go ahead and tie well I tighten up the reins before I even ask him just so he knows that a transition is coI'mng that is what I do with him all the time. Walk. So I did drop my hips right there kind of a little bit I know that is hard to see in my coat but, I did drop my hips and went ahead and tighten up his reins a little bit before I ask him to. He did trot a little bit in between the walk which that is okay as long as it is not more then a couple of steps and actually I'll show you later on how to how I work on his transitions. It is a really really good way on how to get the horses to have good transitions. I will show you that later on but, yeah we just came down from the canter to the walk."
