"On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Ron Gotlin I’m the lead instructor at the Biscayne Park Aikido Club in Biscayne Park, Florida, today we’re going to do a demonstration for self defense for women. Okay this technique involves when the subject comes up to the female and wraps his arms around her from the front in a bear hugging situation, there are several distracters that we can do with techniques and distracters a very important to take the bad guys mind off exactly what he’s doing. We can stomp on the foot, we can chin scrape, we can headbutt we can strike and Ellen will show you those strikes as we go along. James is going to come up to Ellen, he’s going to wrap his arms around her over her arms to pin her, she’s going to grab him at the waist and she’s going to do some kind of distracter either a headbutt or a knee strike or some kind of distracter and then she’s going to try to break his grip by putting one hand under, the other hand under and then turning out and putting him in a compromising position and that will be how that technique would actually work."
