Summary: Learn techniques on how to defend against the double wrist grab in this free self defense video for women.
"My name is Ron Gotlin I’m the lead instructor at the Biscayne Park Aikido Club in Biscayne Park, Florida, today we’re going to do a demonstration for self defense for women. Okay the first technique that we’re going to demonstrate is when a subject comes up to the female and tries to grab her wrist with two hands to try to either pull her in or push her back and the technique is going to look like this in slow motion….Ellen is going to step back break his balance and push and reversing the two sides as James grabs onto Ellen, Ellen steps back to break his balance and pushes. In every self defense technique for women’s self defense is very, very important that there are verbals, that the female tells the male to let go, leave me alone to get some of continuity with the technique. Let go, let go…."

on 8/2/2008 The problem with this technique is that you get your opponent off balance (which is what you want to do) but then would you ever push your opponent back into a well balanced state as in the video.
