"The purpose of a set play is to set up your teammates to score. On an indirect kick you can't score by yourself so it's good to set up a pass and set up a shot from the pass. A good example of a set play on a free kick, when there's a wall there, is chipping it over the wall, having a player running in behind the wall and touching it into the goal. The ball flies over the wall, he runs around it, controls it, touches it into the goal for an easy goal."
