Soccer is the most popular sport in the world. Known as football in most countries of the world, soccer is a team sport consisting of two teams of eleven players each, one of which must be the goalie. The game has been played for centuries and can be dated back as far as 2nd and 3rd century B.C. China. In typical game play, players attempt to create goalscoring opportunities through individual control of the ball, such as by dribbling, passing the ball to a team-mate, and by taking shots at the goal, which is guarded by the opposing goalkeeper.
In this free video series, our expert Ron Weisberg will show you how to dribble the soccer ball. He will show you how to do the circle drill for dribble skills, how to dribble the soccer ball while running, and how to do the roll over dribble. He will even show you how to do cuts while dribbling, how to do the behind the leg cut, and how to combine tricks seamlessly to create your own soccer dribbling style.
"Now we're going to talk about dribbling. Basically what dribbling is, is controlling the ball at your feet and moving with it where ever you go. Here's a little demonstration. (dribbling) The main thing you want to know about dribbling is keep the ball close to you as possible. As soon as you let it go out, somebody is going to run and take it from you. The easiest way that I have learned to do that is by juggling, it controls the ball and it keeps your touch in your head and body close to you."

on 1/23/2009 I disagree, with this video completely. This isn't dribbling this is turning, which is completely different. Not to mention the ball's to far away from you on almost every turn, you very rarely get to turn in football and if you do it is even more less likely that your going to be turning into space, your never going to turn to face the goal you want to attack without another playing being there. Also the best way to actually learn to dribble is do it literally get a ball and run with it keep it close change speed. I played for a professional academy until i messed up my knee and the thing i was best at was getting round people.
