Now that you know how to fix all those repairs, common trail side repairs and the bigger rides, you are ready to go out and do the bigger rides. A really nice thing about that is a lot more pristine, it's a lot more natural which you are out there you are more remote and you got to be more self reliant. Really important thing to remember is let people know where you are going, the ones at home, your friends, a family member, it doesn't matter, let someone know where you are going. Also it's really important that you ride with somebody who knows where they are going, somebody who has been there before, somebody who won't get you lost. Another thing that would be real important is the group that you are riding with you want to make sure that everybody in the group is at similar fitness level. I've seen rides that happen where we start with somebody who is a fitness leveled freak and somebody who is a beer drinking freak and the group just gets so separated, it takes an hour for us to pull it together, it's frustrating for everybody so you want to make sure that your fitness level or the group fitness level is about the same. Another good thing to remember is the buddy system. You don't want to go up there by yourself, you can get yourself in trouble and the buddy system is the way to get yourself help if you need it.
