"Hi, my name is Rick Van Hoorn and I'm here to talk about mountain biking for Expert Village. Now we're going to talk about water and how much water you should drink while you're out there riding. They say that while you're out exercising, if you're really working hard you should be drinking about a liter of water an hour. So if you're out for a 3 hour ride that's 3 liters of water, a gallon if you're out for that 4 hour ride. How do you carry all that water with you? It's kind of hard to do that all on your bike. One way you can help though is to carry two water bottles on your bike. A lot of bikes come equipped with water bottle bosses so you can just go ahead and screw the water bottle cage into the frame, really great way to carry. That right there is getting them towards a quart of water right there or a liter of water. A lot of people when they're out for adventured trips, they also carry something called a water bladder. This water bladder in particular can carry 3 liters of water."
