"Hi, my name is Rick Van Hoorn and I'm here to talk about mountain biking for Expert Village. Now we're going to go ahead and talk about what equipment you should bring to fix your bike when it gets broken out in the trail. Probably the most common thing we need to fix is a flat tire. So, what you want to bring is you want to bring a repair kit that has a spare tube in it, a repair kit or tube repair kit and a pump. Here's the pump, it's a mini pump, you can also get CO2 cartridges. It's up to you but these are a heck of a lot more environment friendly than CO2 cartridges are. Alright, the next thing you have is a carrier, you carry all your stuff inside a little tool bag. It's a great thing to have and it keeps it all together and you always know where your stuff is unless you loose the tool bag. First I've got a patch repair kit, that means I can go ahead and patch the inner tube that's been damaged or has a hole in it. The next thing I pull out here is I pull my multi tool. It's a multi tool because its got loads of tools that you can use on the trail, its got tire irons, its got many different size allen keys in it. I can go ahead and true my wheel with it, straighten my wheel in other words. Its got allen key, screwdrivers, its got a laser in it, its got everything you can think of to repair your bike, it is in here to repair it with. We also carry a spare tube that way I don't have to sit there in the trail side and patch the one that has a hole in it. Another thing that I carry is I carry a screwdriver just because I love the screwdriver and I also carry another little knife with me and I carry a spare cleat for my shoe, as well a chain link in case I break my chain I can go ahead and put a couple of chain links back into it. That's what I carry when I go out mountain bike riding."
