"Hi my name is Rick Vanhorn and I'm here to talk about mountain biking for Expert Village. Okay now we are going to go ahead and talk about how to choose a bicylcle. First you have to decide if you want to become a road cyclist, a mountain cyclist, or maybe even a comfort/hybrid cyclist. A road cyclist are the individuals, and maybe even teams, you see on the road. A lot of them are racers. They're in tuck position a lot of times on their dropped bars, those are the curled down kinda bars. Mountain bikers, those are the guys riding the bikes that have the shocks on the front and sometimes on the back, and smaller wheels, and they are usually dirty from riding in the dirt. Then you have the comfort and hybrid cyclist and they're the guys who like the feel of a mountain bike frame but it's got all the road components on it. Now what's the best bike for you? You know first of all I think you need to decide what price range you want to go ahead... and what kinda money you want to spend on it. So once you decide that, you go ahead and go out and test drive all the cyclist, all the bikes you can in that price range. Be prepared to spend 10 percent maybe more or less than what your price range is. Okay and then once you've test driven go out and by the bike, get the one that is most comfortable for you. That's the way you want to do it."
